One amino acid is encoded by 3 nucleotides. That means 150 amino acids are encoded by 150*3=450 nucleotides. But there are also Start and Stop condons, which are also encoded by 3 nucleotides each.

Therefore, I guess, the theoretical minimum is 450 nucleotides

and the full (maximum) should be 450+ 3+ 3= 456 nucleotides.

Each amino acid is coded by 3 Bases. By Dividing 150 by 3 you get 50 bases
