Just one for the compressor
There is ( 1 ) serpentine belt used to drive the engine accesories : ( But there are different belts used depending on what engine you have " Vulcan " with air conditioning , " Vulcan without air conditioning , the DOHC " Duratec " engine etc. )
the nova never had a serpentine belt in 1976, it had 2 belts on it unless it had air conditioning and then it had 3 belts.
Those are the drive belts for the alternator, power steering, and air conditioning.
No, the 1957 Chevy didn't come with seat belts.
Its on the passanger side of the engine under a black cover.. its is between the belts and pullys and the engine block.
Not sure which engine you have but I don't think the 02 Tahoe uses timing belts. I believe they use a timing chain instead and that should last the life time of the engine.
Take off the belts then the hoses then the belts holding it on.
One belt. I just changed mine last week. $14 at Autozone.
You're going to need "The Book". A factory service manual (FSM) for your vehicle is the best. .
I am not sure what this engine is on. But, typically the tool or machine that the engine is on is what will determine the belts and pulleys, not the engine.
there are 3 belts total.
More the likely the alternator has quite working are the belt / belts have broken on the front of the engine.
