Matthew, Mark, and Luke
The "Gospels" are merely the "first four books of the New Testament": Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. It's a name that MEN have given to them, and not referred to thusly in the Bible.Gospel means "good news" or "glad tidings." The "gospel" is the wonderful news of God's promises to mankind: HIS DIVINELY REVEALED AND INSPIRED MESSAGE TO MAN of his coming salvation and future victory over death by the Power of God... and the Kingdom of God; the Household that God is preparing for His immense future Family [numbering as many as the grains of sand in the sea - Gen.22:17].In this regard... the name, "the Gospels" doesn't make sense when applied to the first four books of the New Testament. It comes out this way: "The Good Newses." (???)Nevertheless... that's what the first four books of the New Testament have come to be called by many -- "The Gospels."

The Gospels are the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The name of the book is the name of the person who's point of view the story is told from. These four gospels (Gospel is translated as 'The good news') tell the life of Jesus, from his birth to his ascension to heaven.
THE 4 [GOSPELS] ARE MATTHEW MARK LUKE AND JOHN... There are four books of John, John, I John, II John, III John, Revelation of John The four books of the kings are I Kings, II Kings, I Chonicles, II Chronicles
The name 'John' appears 144 times in the New King James Version of the Bible - all in the New Testament. All four Gospels, Acts, Galatians, 2 John, and Revelation have this name in it.
There are to many to name
Daniel is mentioned in Ezekiel, the book of Daniel and the gospels of Matthew and Luke. The name Daniel is also in 1 Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah but they are not the same Daniel as in the book of Daniel
Four. The first books presented in the New Testament are called the Gospels. Their name means good news. It is widely accepted that they were written by eye witnesses to the ministry of Jesus. They are named Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John after the men whom we believe wrote them. There is some debate among scholars as to who actually wrote these texts.
Jesus is mentioned the most in the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Of the gospel books -- the name of Jesus is mentioned in the book of John more than another other book.
too many to name :)
You have it a bit wrong. Yes, there are four Gospels but Mark is the name of only one: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
