No one knows! That is one of the things we are taught is to not brag or show off. And since reaching enlightenment does not have obvious outward appearances, except for maybe being extremely happy, there is no way to know but to ask someone.

So as you walk down the street, as you see each person you might think Buddha?... Buddha?..... Buddha?....

No one knows for two reasons (1) no one has counted them and (2) Buddhists are taught not to flaunt their progress toward enlightenment (Buddhahood) therefore if someone has become a Buddha they don't announce it to the world.
