One in his chest, too near his heart to never be removed; the other in his right arm- it eventually worked its way close enough to the surface that a doctor could remove it. They did not have anesthetic in those days, but Jackson did not complain and went back to work as soon as the bullet was removed.
For all we know one bullet was entered in his body during a duel which he lost at, at first, and he shot the other man standing who originally won. :)))

For a period of his life believed to be approximately 20 years, president Andrew Jackson had two bullets lodged in his body. Jackson did not believe that there was a doctor skilled enough to surgically remove them.

Enough
Jackson served as president with two bullets lodged in his body; one in the arm and one just below the heart. Both wounds were the result of duels. Jackson had been wounded so frequently in duels that it was said he "rattled like a bag of marbles". 3 times, two different times. 3 times, two different times. 3 times, two different times.
Some do, yes, and some will instead get lodged into or bounce around inside the body cavity, rather than penetrate all the way through.

Black Talons were hollow point ammo designed for self-defense. Contrary to popular misperception, they are not cop killer bullets and are not able to defeat body armor any better than other bullets -- in fact they are more easily stopped by body armor.
