The memory is to be designed so that 16-bitdata can be accessed in one .Two 64K X 8 SRAM chips have a capacity of 128KB.

Answer Gigabytes is a measure of computer memory storage capacity, Gigahertz is a measures frequency, the two can not be equated.
4,096 In computer memory, "kilo" refers to 2 to the 10th power, or 1024, rather than to 1000.
The memory address space is 64 MB, which means 226. However, each word is 4 bytes, which means that you have 224 words. This means you need log2 224 or 24 bits, to address each word.

In computer memory terms, one gigabyte = 1,073,741,824 bytes. In telecomunication terms, it is commonly referred to as 1,000,000,000 bytes. For most marketing reasons, it is shortened to mean 1,000,000,000 bytes, however this is slightly misleading.
right click on my computer, click on properties, click on general tab. at the bottom you will see your memory in mega bytes or giga bytes. or, right click on the start bar, left click on task manager, click on the performance tab and where it says physical memory there will be a total. this will be your total ram in bytes.
A kilobyte (or a k) is 1024 bytes, so 16k is 16*1024 bytes or 16384 bytes.
One tera byte is 1,099,511,627,776 (240) bytes, in traditional computer memory terms, or 1,000,000,000,000 (1012) bytes, in computer communications terms. Usage is sometimes confusing, because not everyone uses the same nomenclature.
8byte addressability: 8bytes can be stored in each memory location. 3bits to access: so 8 memory locations ( 2^3) total size = 8 * 8bytes( each memory location contains) = 64 bytes any queries or discussions, feel free to contact me at: chintala.ganesh@wipro.com
A "flabbergasted" is not a measurement of computer memory. 8 bits are in a byte, 1000 bytes are in a kilobyte, 1000 kilobytes are in a megabyte, Etc.
