You probably need to lose weight.

You're BMI (Body Mass Index) is 34 which means that you're overweight.

First of all i will raccomand you to see a doctor or a nutritionist.

I belive that to lose wight you should eat between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. It seems hard but trust me is not!!

I will advice you to read the label of everything you eat and try to eat everything that is below 5g of fat.

No more fried food or oily food.

Go in your cupboards and throw away butter, oil, cheeses and everything that is considered fat.

Buy a diary or a notebook and start writing why you want to lose weight.

A few tips of losing weight quickly and successfully are:

  • Stop drinking alcohol (and this means no alcohol at all at least for the first month of the diet)
  • Stop eating cookies, cakes, chocolate bars and any fat snack
  • Stop drinking sugary drinks unless they have zero calories (like Diet Coke)
  • Have grains once a day. Your body transform Carbs in sugar, and the less sugar you eat the more likely you are to use up storage fat.
  • Try not to eat to much fruit, maybe have just 2 or 3 pieces of fruit a day.
  • Avoid all sauces but ketchup (which it's surprisingly skinny)
  • Drink plenty of water (as much as you can)
  • Eat plenty of vegetables, also as snacks (vegetable are law in sugar and low in calories)
  • Don't use butter or oil at any time!
  • Avoid eating cheese!
  • keep a diary with all the things you eat every single day
  • Exercise! Even just walking for 1h a day or running 30min

Trust me that if you will follow this diet you're going to lose weight without even noting!

A one day meal plan could be:

Breakfast: 40g of Oatmeal with half banana

Break: A piece of fruit or a non-fat yogurt

Lunch: Grilled salmon with boiled vegetables

Snack: A piece of fruit

Dinner: 80g of Pasta with vegetable sauce (no oil/no parmesan)

Is important that you cook your own food and that you don't buy and ready meals of ready sauces.

If you have a kitchen scale is even better, you can weight your food and eat healthy portions.

3000 cal would be a rough maintanance estimate. You should also take into account your body fat percentage as lean muscle burns more calories than fat. Also, how much you exercise.
