First off unless you are age 13 or under or 4 foot tall or under -- a body weight of 122 pounds is healthy. However, if you still want to lose weight you will need to know 1 fact. 3500 calories equals 1 pound. Now everything you do burns calories so you have 2 options.
For every pound you want to lose you need to either:
1. eat 3500 less calories then you burn through your daily lifestyle
2. eat the number of calories someone with your body type needs to sustain their weight, and burn 3500 calories through exercise.
However, like i said 122 lbs for an adult is generally speaking healthy, unless you are a dwarf. Now option #1 is more then likely not a good plan for someone your weight as you will more then likely put your body into "starvation mode" and your body will actually start conserving energy thinking you are starving.
