Is it safe to have two black wires two white wires and two ground wires on a single breaker?

Hopefully just the black wires are on the breaker. Two circuits on one breaker. Shouldn't be a problem. It would depend on how many outlets or lights were on the breaker in total. Even then, there is very little chance of something drawing current from every outlet at the same time. The only thing is you can't put two wires under one breaker (by code). You would have to wire nut them with a pig-tail then just put the one wire under the breaker.

Does it surge past 120?? Drops are due too the fact that there are too many outlets or devices on one line. Trace the line that you have a voltage drop in and find which breaker it is, if the line that comes off the breaker is a 12 gauge wire and the breaker is a 15amp breaker you can put in a 20amp breaker. If the line is a 14 gauge line then you must leave the 15amp breaker in place and remove a device from it.

That's the 1440 watts for a 15 amp breaker, and 1920 watts for a 20 amp breaker. Also look for a load you might not think is on the breaker, such as an outdoor light, or something in a hall or another room. Other causes: - A motor draws more current when it starts than when it runs. - An aging breaker, or one that has been overloaded too many times, can trip at a reduced current. If you have an ohmmeter you can check the tripped breaker. Put one lead on the black "hot" wire coming from the breaker. Remember, the breaker must be off. Then put the other lead on the ground bar. If the ohm reading is very low, close to 2 ohms, then you have a direct short to ground somewhere in your wiring.
