Sure can. Shut off your computer and go for a walk.As a precaution, always consult with your personal physician before changing your dietary or exercise habits. If you are too heavy to exercise, simply begin by making dietary changes. Then, when you have lost enough weight to exercise comfortable, introduce mild cardio exercise such as walking for weight loss. I have added some pages for you, further down this page, listed under Related Questions, which will help. Those pages cover such things as the causes of weight gain (and incidentally type II diabetes), the best diet for an obese man or woman, how to do cardio walking to lose weight and lots of other useful information. If those pages collectively do not provide you with all the information you need, please do feel free to ask more questions. In addition, I highly recommend that you also read the following books: Protein Power, and The Protein Power Lifeplan, by Michael R. Eades, M.D., and Mary Dan Eades, M.D., and The X Factor Diet by Leslie Kenton. If you wish to read those books but do not want to buy them, you can borrow copies from your local library, or buy inexpensive used copies on eBay.
