Case size makes a difference but in general 56 cases per pallet, with 4 layers of 14 cases each would be standard for 12 pack cases standing upright. I would always check with your shipping company to see what their capacity is though.

For stubbies (330 - 375 ml bottles)

Some pallets of beer (at least in Australia) use layers of ten cases stacked up to 6 layers high which is most common so 60 cases. Occasionally they are 7 layers high (ie. Victoria Bitter) so 70 cases. There are also some which are stacked 13 to a layer, usually 5 layers high so 65 cases, but occasionally they are stacked 6 layers high so 78 cases per pallet.

For cans (generally 375 ml)

Slabs, or packs of 24 cans use layers of 12 cases generally stacked 10 layers high so 120 per pallet.

Blocks, or packs of 30 cans are 18 packs per layer, stacked 5 layers high so 90 packs per pallet.

75cl per bottle

6 bottle cases

150 cases per pallet

9 pallets per TEU

8100 bottles.

However, all depends of the kind of packaging/cases you are using. This is just an estimation. With 12 bottles per case probably you could fit around 9000 bottles.

You can safely fit 48 twelve bottle wine crates or cases of wine on a pallet. Make sure you wrap the pallet well. I can't absolutely guarantee no breakage.
