During World War 2 the total casualty lost by Iraq were only about 500.
The number of civilian casualties in Iraq is difficult to determine and still being debated. However, the Iraqi Body Count Project estimates that around 110,000 to 120,000 civilian Iraqis have died since the beginning of the conflict in 2003.
84,000 US Soldiers are currently at war in Afghanistan
Technically, the United States isn't "at war" with anyone. Although the U.S. has been involved in plenty of international conflicts over the years (Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq War) they haven't formally made a declaration of war against a nation since the Second World War. However, just because the US hasn't made a declaration of war against a country doesn't mean that it's currently not involved in a conflict. (Maybe a minor distinction, but something worth noting) The U.S. is currently involved in military conflicts with the Taliban in Afghanistan and with various terrorist-identified groups in Iraq. That doesn't necessarily mean that the US is "at war" with either the nation of Afghanistan or Iraq, just that American troups are engaged in military operations in either country.
