from what ive learned most 1993 models come with 4, as well as the crown vic and mercury sedans. at least thats what ive come to find out
There are two catalytic converters, both located in the exhaust under the engine. Some California models had converters attached to the exhaust manifolds.
Look under your vehicle and count them.

I would think no way, but also no way would you pass an emissions inspection w/o catalytic converters. Here in Maryland it is a bi-annual inspection.

No, the 1983 - 1992 Crown Victorias used the AOD transmission and the 1993-1994 Crown Victorias used the AODE transmission, so they would be different. Sorry!
