If we restrict the question purely to bird eggs then to quote peteducation.com: "The only known poisonous bird in the world is the hooded pitohui of Papua, New Guinea. The poison is found in its skin and feathers." This has not been intensively researched but it seems reasonably safe to say that if need be, all bird eggs should be safe to eat. That is not to say that it is legal as many are protected for good reason.
