You should only take 200 cigarettes with you to the UK and it doesn't matter whether these were bought on the island or on the plane, if you take any more (which you may) you must pay the extra taxes, which would make no sense since you could then buy them in the UK for the same price. From anywhere else in EU, except the Canary Islands, you may take 800 "tax-free" cigarettes with you back home.
