No. CIPROFLOXACIN is anti-bacterial and not avtiviral. Do not take Ciprofloxacin for anything else other than the problem for which it was prescribed. If the antibiotic is the leftover quanitiy from a previous infection, you probably have enough to create a problem rather than clear-up any possible infection.
