About 100-125 head cows and calves
Most cows live in a pasture (field, meadow, grassland). Dairy cows may live in barns part of the time. Owned cattle live on a farm or ranch.
The farm.
Dairy cows are found all over, not just on islands.
i think it is cows, sheep and goats!
Yes. Cows and horses are commonly found on rangelands, especially beef cattle (no, not the "cows" that are in feedlots, but actual beef cows), not so much dairy cattle.
This would be wonderful for you to see first hand! Besides the dairy animals (cows), you might have a herd bull, cats in the barn, dogs, horses in the pasture, some chickens, geese, ducks, and you don't say what kind of dairy farm so you could very well have a herd of goats as your dairy product. Having lambs and rabbits added to the mix.....should take in a county fair in the fall of the year, a real education!
In a natural setting, no animal would live in a stable. And if an animal had a choice, they would choose to live in a shed or out in the open rather than a stable. But in a domestic farm setting, horses and dairy cows are the ones that live in a stable.
well farmers live on a farm with pasters of cattle such as horses and cows and bulls stuff like that
That all depends on the type of cow, or "cow." Dairy cows and cattle are often find in sheds or what are known as "cow sheds," byres, or barns, and beef cattle are found in a pasture, range, corral, pen or, depending on the weather conditions, a loafing shed. Dairy cattle are also found on pasture depending on the season and grazing conditions.
If so, then I consider you fortunate, and I hope you get to visit them often.
well they live with cows on a farm. They treat calves like there young... The End!!
No, cows on average can live longer than pigs. Cows can live 12-15 years, while pigs will live on average 5-7 years. Pet micro pigs live approx. 15-18 years, outliving the life expectancy of a farm cow.
