2 pounds of confectioners sugar contains 7 and 1/2 cups. 1 lb of confectioners sugar contains 3 and 3/4 cups. One half pound of confectioners sugar is only 1 and 7/8 cups.

I don't believe that you can purchase such a small packet of sugar.

It is normally sold in 500g(1lb), 1kg (2lb) or 2kg (4lb)packets
