Graham Cracker Crust

6 1/2 oz graham crackers (12 crackers), finely ground (1½ cups)
2 1/2 oz (5 T) unsalted butter, melted [Use EARTH BALANCE if vegan]
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Pulse graham cracker crumbs, butter, sugar, and salt in a food processor until combined.
3. Firmly press crumb mixture into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake until crust is fragrant and edges are golden, 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
Makes one 9-inch pie crust.
1 It would also be helpful to know what a cup of graham cracker crumbs weighs. My box of crackers is 14.4oz. I could estimate what portion of the box to use if I know how much a cup of crumbs weighs.
About 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs.
According to Cook's Thesaurus http://www.foodsubs.com/Crumbs.html 14 graham crackers = 1 Cup crumbs so, 12 graham crackers = 3/4 C + 1 Tbs (approximately)

20 graham crackers = 10 ounces so 1 graham cracker = 0.5 ounces.
It depends on how big each crumb is.

It would be difficult to actually determine that without more facts. In general the densest will be the heaviest. I would expect the cracker crumbs to be the most dense.
