You can use up to four dance "pads" in Dance Dance Revolution.
You can use 1 if you want but if your doing ddr with two people then you need 2 mats.
Yes, two dance pads are included.

We tried getting two more pads, but they didnt work on the wii so we had to order new pads just for that game, and give them bak. I guess hotest party 2 only works with the right mats. Hottest party 1 works with the normal ones though... :I hmm
just dance :)
At this time there are no DDR pads for XBOX 360 that come with raised pads.

Morris dancing is an English folk dance. The dancers usually wear bell pads while moving in a rhythmic stepping manner.
yes there are several that are compatible with the 20 and 60gb ps3's these same pads may be compatible with the 80gb it depends on the site as to what the product description says. the super master deluxe dance pads and master non slip have a usb connection that can be used for ps3 and PC, they also are improved so there is no delay. They can be expensive even on eBay. Another mat seems to be not as well made, but it will work they are the stay cool ps3 dance mats, so far I only find them on eBay seller yang32096. I recommend the super master deluxe because they are padded. Also adaptors have been made to convert ps2 to ps3 mats but usually there is a delay. I hope this answers your question. There is a new ps3 version of the game that comes with a pad specifically made for ps3 in 2010.
Yes, you can dance while you have your period - there is absolutely nothing that you can't do during your period, and light exercise like dance can help ease menstrual cramps if you do get menstrual cramps. You might prefer to use internal options like tampons, sponges, menstrual cups, or softcups as it's easier to move about with these rather than pads - menstrual cups are the best option as they don't increase cramps like tampons can, unlike tampons they can be worn even with light flow, and also menstrual cups don't leak like other options so you can feel more secure. If you're a pad user then you might want to consider cloth pads which are more comfortable than disposable pads so they won't make you as sweaty as you dance or rub on your skin like plastic on disposables can, thus better when active. Team-up with period underwear which have leak-proof lining, or if you're wearing a leotard try pad period underwear with pads built-in so you can wear pads without anything showing under your costume.
At some parties (usually dance parties) you can get access to the night club roof. Also, when you play "jet pack adventure" the first two levels let you land on the roofs with the landing pads on them.
