you can call each other boyfriend and girlfriend without going on a date, even if you have only both established clearly that you each have feelings for each other.
arsk them if they are rich and you are not it is not possible
Dates are great for some alone time with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Dates are also great to get to know each other i would highly suggest going on a date but not so much a double date double dates are awkward and weird there for go just you and your boyfriend/girlfriend

you can date more than one person if u are refering to going on dates. so it doesnt mean that u are girlfriend/boyfriend with everyone you date. usually people refer to dating as being someones girlfriend/boyfriend if there are no other people that they are dating.
Someone knows when they are boyfriend and girlfriend when they spend a lot of time together, and go out on dates to places such as restaurants and cinemas. They may also take part in physical contact such as hugs and kisses.
This is just me, but I think you should wait longer than three dates to ask the big question. I am a girl and I think I would like to have gone on over six dates before I thought about being boyfriend and girlfriend. Good Luck!!!

I'd say 3 or 4 dates is good, though it's some what lame to some one you are going on dates with to date you, if you guys are going on dates and kissing, handholding, whatever there is little need to set a clean date or moment when you became boyfriend/girlfriend, just let it happen and grow naturally
Because they think, "What if everything went wrong and my boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on me during our date?"
If it was the day he asked you out, he might just need time to adjust to the idea of having a girlfriend. Also, you tend to become 'boyfriend and girlfriend' after a couple of dates to see if it works out. Carry on as normal with him and see what happens.
