I just started grad school, and used SPSS in undergrad. My advisor's lab ONLY uses SAS so I have to learn it. My advisor told me it takes months to become comfortable with SAS, and even then its a constant process of learning. A 4th year in our lab is going to a workshop to learn more after all those years working in the lab. I've just started little bitty tutorials...good luck on your SAS journey.
