FrontLine Efficacy After Pet BathWe have been using FrontLine on our dog and cat for years. According to FrontLine, "After application, keep the dog or cat from getting wet until the application area appears dry, usually 24 hours. If a FRONTLINE Brand Product is to be applied after a bath, make sure the pet is completely dry before application."

Once the scar has healed and stitches are out then wait a week and then bath your dog. When in doubt just phone the vet's office.

How long should you wait to give a cat a bath after application of Frontline since he still has fleas visible?

The minimum would be two weeks. I had the same problem, and if you're cat still has fleas, try Frontline Plus. It worked SO well for me, but the regular Frontline didn't do anything! You can comb your cat with a flea comb soon after you've applied Frontline. Place the cat on a light-coloured towel or sheet, or even place him in the bath and comb him thoroughly. This will take the adults out of the fur and will be visible on the towel or in the bath. Be sure to do this once or even twice a day to remove as many adult fleas as possible. Also, wash any furniture and carpets regularly as flea larvae and eggs can live in these for months.

Actually you CAN give a Guinea pig a bath but you should not put them back in their cage when they are damp (this is how they get colds). It should be around 50 degrees or higher when you give him/her a bath but be sure to remember to dry your friend with a towel (NO HAIR DRYERS). SQ

Can you give a dog a bath before shots?

Not immediately. It is best to wait at least 2 days after a bath before applying Frontline. The oils on your dog's coat need to replenish before the Frontline can effectively spread across the skin. If you give it too early it will be ineffective and may cause irritation instead.
