Acutally, according to Frontline, "It is recommended you do not bath or shampoo your dog for at least 48 hours after you have applied FRONTLINE PLUS or FRONTLINE SPRAY."

The minimum would be two weeks. I had the same problem, and if you're cat still has fleas, try Frontline Plus. It worked SO well for me, but the regular Frontline didn't do anything! You can comb your cat with a flea comb soon after you've applied Frontline. Place the cat on a light-coloured towel or sheet, or even place him in the bath and comb him thoroughly. This will take the adults out of the fur and will be visible on the towel or in the bath. Be sure to do this once or even twice a day to remove as many adult fleas as possible. Also, wash any furniture and carpets regularly as flea larvae and eggs can live in these for months.
