Worldwide, around 50-75 people are attacked by a shark. This is usually when a shark takes a bite, doesn't like the taste of human, and swims away. Only around 8 deaths are from shark attacks every year.
The truth is that nobody have the faintest idea how many sharks die each year by natural causes.
Please remember that aprox. 75% of our planet surface is covered by oceans, and marine animals live in a three dimension sea world, unlike land animals, like humans, who live in a two dimensional world (except flying animals like birds, insects, bats, etc.).
