light truck diesels? 6.2, 6.5 nat aspirated, 6.5 turbo, and duramax 6.6 also another duramax, i think 7.8? used in medium duty trucks, they had a diesel used in cars in the late 70's early 80's that i believe was some sort of converted 350. that didn't go over very well, maybe someone else know more
yes definitely it can be made using diesel engines, but it will be so heavy that it cannot be handled by an individual
No. The 6.2 diesel used by GM, by the way, was made not by GM, but by Detroit Diesel.
some marine engines are reverse rotation, Also marine engines are made from anti corrosive materials, they are heavy duty and can tolarate vibrations of your ship.
The Duramax Diesel is an Isuzu design but General Motors designed the electronics engine controls. These engines are produced in Moraine, Ohio. They have produced five different versions of the Duramax Diesel.
Petrol engines are widely considered to be the most efficient of engines, because they are more refined than diesel. Since diesel is not completely refined, it cannot completely combust and so does not (in theory) produce as much energy per litre of fuel as a petrol engine. However, some diesel engines can be made to be much more efficient than petrol engines because they have a different type of fuel, and burn it in a different way. The steam engine made possible for the invention of the steam locomotive and the steam ship. The gas and diesel engines made possible cars, trucks, diesel-electric locomotive engines, diesel-electric submarines, airplanes made flight possible, and the list could go on and on....
A couple of powerful diesel engines.
citroen/peugeot made by ford
No, the duramax wasn't made until about 2000
Fiestas have been in production for many years and have gone through many styling changes and have been fitted with many different engines. The older engines all required different grades of oil, but all Ford engines, petrol and diesel, made over the past few years, take 5w/30 multigrade.
The short answer is, Yes. Power Stroke is the diesel engine, made by Navistar International Corporation, that Ford Motor Company uses for its diesel powered F- series pick up trucks. These engines use Ford's software for engine management.
I've had my Rabbit PU for 11 years. I always use 15W 40 oil made for Diesel engines.
