It typically takes 7-14 days of continuous use if you take Lortabs strictly for pain. You should not feel mentally addicted to them, although you may go through physical withdrawal ("the runs," leg/Back pain, exhaustion, anxiety). If you take them recreationally for the high, after 7-14 days you will start becoming mentally addicted in addition to physically addicted. People who strictly take opiates for pain for extended periods of time and then abruptly quit do feel sick, but they mistake withdrawal for the flu, since going through withdrawal feels as though you have the worst flu of your entire life, but they never crave the drug because they're unaware that by taking the drug, they will feel better and get over it easier, because they dont have the constant nagging in the back of their minds: "I know exactly what will make me feel better and this is killing me!" Once you're mentally addicted, it's a long way back to recovery. Trust me, I know. I have been using opiates (started with Vicodin, "graduated" to Oxycontin) for about three years now, and it's difficult. I'm in more debt than I've ever been, and it makes you feel like you're a horrible person... which of course, you're not. Your brain eventually becomes a slave to opiates, and it takes lifetime of disipline to stay away from them. My advice is, if you are being prescribed this drug, talk to your doctor about slowly weaning yourself off to avoid discomfort. If you are using recreationally, try getting your hands on Suboxone (the miracle drug for addicts), or if that's not possible, the best thing to do is to just try to take at least one week off from work (tell them you have a bad case of the flu) to ride it out. You will still feel rundown after the worst is over for a few weeks, but there are vitamins to help with energy. Exercising, although you will not feel like moving at all, does help, and dont forget to eat! Good luck and be careful!
Lortabs contain a synthetic narcotic, hydrocodone. It could affect the fetus. If your doctor prescribed it, stick to the dosage recommendations. If you get it on the street, don't do it.
It depends on how many mg's of hydrocodone are in the pill.
Depending on what drug you take and how often you take it, you can be a drug addict at any age really.
Both Medications contain Acetaminophen and should not be taken together.
lortab 5 lortab 7.5 and lortab10
If it is prescribed, of course its not. However, Lortabs are illegal if bought off someone.
Captain Obvious says: if you take amphetamines every day you became an addict soon
Yes
A PA in Kansas can write a prescription for Lortabs if the doctor they work under agrees.
The average is 3-5 days.
