It isn't even clear how many dwarf planets our own Solar System has (it may be some tens of them, hundreds, or even thousands) - much less how many there are in the entire Milky Way or in other galaxies.

How many planets does the comet galaxy have?

It is not generally known how many planets are in each galaxy; it isn't even known how many planets are in our own galaxy, and will probably never be known exactly, due to its enormous size. However, according to latest observations, it seems likely that every star has several planets, at least on average.

How many earth years does it take a comet to orbit?

Halley's Comet takes 73.5 years to orbit the sun but every comet is different just like planets.

Super Mario galaxy 2 can you get comets in a galaxy that you didnt get the medal in?

There is a comet medal in every first star of a galaxy. Some galaxies don't have comets (not including green star comets.) This means that comets appear based on how many medals you have, not which galaxy you got them from. For example, if you have all the comet medals except the one in Yoshi Star Galaxy, then it's still possible for a comet to appear there, but it means that a comet might not appear in Boulder Bowl. In short, YES. I think it's best to get every comet medal so you don't have to ask this question.

How many advanced communicating civilizations are there in the universe?

i cant tell you exactly but i can tell you that......... in our galaxy there are 10,000 advanced communicating alien civilizations. [according to drake's equation]. 70% of all yellow stars have planets 23.98% of all red giants have planets 78% of white dwarfs, pulsars and brown dwarfs have planets and red supergiants, supernova, and red dwarfs 56% which leads us to think there are probably 6205^23489 alien ,slightly intelligent alien life forms in 100 galaxies or 20 million in each galaxy. hope that helped, but don't go out with your telescope yet. because you'll have to search 3,000 stars before you find one with communicating advanced civilized life.

How many dwarf planets are there in the milky way galaxy?

It is not known. Scientists are still not sure how many dwarf planets are in the solar system or how many true planets are in the galaxy. If estimates from our solar system apply elsewhere, however, the number is probably in the trillions.

Which galaxy are the planets on?

Planets orbit stars, stars orbit a galaxy. Planets are not "on" anything. A lot of stars out there have planets - we are just finding out how many now that we have better techniques to find them. So probably all galaxies have at least some stars with planets.

Are there planets in the Andromeda Galaxy?

It is extremely likely, but we cannot yet find planets from that far away. All the planets we have found to date are in our own galaxy. The Andromeda galaxy is 2.5 million light years away whereas our galaxy is about 100,000 light years across.

How many moons Andromeda galaxy have?

It is not known. The Andromeda Galaxy contains about a trillion stars, many of which certainly have planets, though we don't know how many. Many of the planets likely have moons. All told, there are likely several hundred billion to several trillion moons in the Andromeda Galaxy.
