Best Answer

A guinea hen will lay about 100-160 eggs each spring from about March until May. She will continue laying that many until she is "old" at 5 years of age. After that the egg number will be reduced.

A guinea fowl lays 25-30 eggs in a nest and then sits for the incubation period of 26-28 days. The chicks are called "keets". If she doesn't go broody, a guinea hen can lay 100 eggs in a year. She doesn't slow down until be becomes "old" at 5 years of age.
