I recently spoke with someone at Sears regarding washers and dryers. His recommendation was to avoid the High efficiency units. He also suggested staying clear of the new units that open to the front. If you do not leave the door open after use, they tend to mildew. Water gathers around the seal. His suggestion was to purchase a washer with a smaller or nonexistant aggitator. He also recommended washing only full loads with cool water to save on utilities. The HE units were about 300-500.00 more expensive and in a pros opinion, not worth the money.
Poor design of the piping system as you may have adequate pressure but not enough volume as the sizing of fixture units is predicated upon available pressure and amount of volume needed to prevent drastic pressure / volume drops (loss) Poor design of the piping system as you may have adequate pressure but not enough volume as the sizing of fixture units is predicated upon available pressure and amount of volume needed to prevent drastic pressure / volume drops (loss)

Clothes washer? My old Ge is about 27 x 30 inches square and 35 inches tall with adjustable screws to raise it's height and level it. larger load handling units may be taller. Check out Lowes website and find one that fits your hole in the wall. lol J
