I am not sure how to do that, so I would love that someone (please be understandable) would post how.

The same way you enchant other tools. Put it in an enchantment table and pick one of the three enchantments. The more bookcases around it, the better enchnatments you get. If you want, you can go look at the wiki to predict what your enchantment is going to be, but it's a long, long process.
