Four
The 1993 Pontiac Grand Am for cylinder engine has four motor mounts. There is a motor mount on each corner of the engine.
you need to remove the top engine mount
You must loosen the top motor mount and tilt the engine forward.
Where is the motor mount located on 1995 grand am
there is the top mount on the passenger side of the motor, a dog-bone mount at the rear of the engine and a trans mount seen at the inside of the left front fender well
Yes..you should be able to. You'll have to take off the starter, remove the front engine mount to be able to lift the engine slightly then remove the oil pan.
no. the entire thing needs to be replaced
80 pds and then after alternating the bolt give them just a quary\ter turn more but remember to alternate pattern
it has 4 mounts , 2 engine mounts, and 2 transmission mount
What size engine? If the engine is a 3.4 litre, the sensor is located directly under the power steering pump. Power steering pump, must be removed before you can gain access to the camshaft sensor. I also removed the engine mount, to ease removal of power steering pump. Caution!!! (support engine with jack before removing engine mount.)
Yes...you can put just about any engine in anything with the proper skills, time and money. If the Cutlass you have has an Olds engine in it now then the transmission will bolt right up to the Pontiac engine. If it's a Chevy engine you'll need a B.O.P. transmission. You will need to change the motor mount location. Depending on the year of the Cutlass it may actually have the bolt holes drilled in the frame for the Pontiac engine mounts. For reference, find an older Grand Prix with a Pontiac 301 engine. This will have the correct mounts and location. You will also have to change the exhaust head pipe locations.
broken transmission mount there is a front left, rear left and a center mount
