The Death Note.
It's a book
Book 12.
The anime series takes it's name from the Death Note itself wherein the owner of the book can write a name and the person whose name is written down then dies a premature death as described by the book's owner .
Death Note is a manga (Japanese comic book) and anime (Japenese show). It can be on TV.
Assuming that you understand the concept of the Death Note, then the deaths will be carried out as written.
No because he dies in it, but he is in a book written about the before-death-note book 'the B.B murders' about another case, which I would highly reccomend
death note has 37 episodes There are 37! Yay! I have watched every one! :0 And guess what!? But people think theres 42 episode counting the movies. :p But theres not! That's not counting the episodes! 37 is the last one and the saddest/funniest :D
It says "The person whose name is written in this book shall die". Actually there exist in the Shine gami world each death note for every Shine gami( God of Death ). When a death note comes to the human world the one who touches it first becomes the owner of the book and he could use it as long as he wishes to but the user is cursed to have severe pain, troubles, and misery and many more rules apply.... which is an unending list.. I soon open a website which include something related to Death note. Because I'm a worshipper of Death note.

Usually one.
From my knowledge, it doesn't actually cover a book. It's more separate from the series and, from what I know about it, doesn't actually cover any book.
