Convert square feet to linear feet?

well one way to do it would be to to take your total area and divide it by the measurement of one side. for istance my property is 200 feet wide and i own 3 acres of land. an acre is 43560 sqare feet. 43560sqft X 3 acres is 130,680 square ft. so to find how far back my property line is i take 130,680 sqft divided by 200 feet across=? my back property line is aproximately 653.4 feet back from the front property line... sheesh
