Very few. The Nazis has a few of the ME262 aircraft (only 1430 were built in total) but surrendered in May 1945- and the US had a total of 66 or the AiraComets. The British had begun building the Glouster Meteor, but had so few that they were reserved for defense over Britain, and were not deployed over France or Germany. The MIG 15 was still in the future, and the Japanese never built a deployable jet fighter. An educated guess would be about 200 jet fighters total in 1945. That would soon change.
over 2500 fighter jets
there are more than 250 different kinds of fighter jets.
about 2,500 operational fighter jets, including those used in the fighter/bomber role.
There are currently about 100 fighter jets in the Royal Air Force. They are Eurofighter Typhoons.
Most modern fighter jets can carry up to 12 bombs or missiles.
about 3,000.
Because I do!
The last time I checked, the Philippine air force had no actual fighter jets, but many very capable jet trainers.
Around 3000-6000 they have more helicopters than jets
Most fighter jets are made of aluminium, titanium and steel.
The USAF has approx. 2132 fighter aircraft. The US Navy has probably several hundred if not over a thousand, putting the amount of fighter jets in the US up to about 3000.
The airborne technology that is used in the fighter jets is the airborne networking.
