The Leapfrog LeapPad 2 was designed to be durable enough for toddlers, and is initially less expensive than the iPad. The apps for the iPad are typically free or up to $5, while the LeapPad 2's apps are $25 and up. The iPad has more capabilities and functions (audio/video streaming, camera, much more apps, etc.), which may be appealing for those parents who do not already have an iPad. But for parents with an iPad, the LeapPad 2 is great for kids.
The Leappad 2 is a product designed and created by Leapfrog. The apps for the Leappad are available through the official Leapfrog website, which has an extensive library of child-friendly and educational games, videos and eBooks which will keep your son amused for hours.
You need to buy "a pack" (25 $, i think), you get 2 code in a pack. Some apps need 2 code to be download, others need 1.
