On a 2000 Lincoln LS :
It has ( 1 fuel tank ) but it is almost like two tanks that are joined together at
the top . In the top of the tank on the drivers side is a jet pump / transfer pump
that pumps fuel over to the passenger side of the tank . In the top of the tank
on the passenger side is the fuel pump that supplies fuel to the engine

I believe 12.5 Gallons, that's what my 2000 Plymouth Neon LX has, which is basically the same and I certain they would have the same size fuel tanks.
