Mabye. I've been able to put 2 fire belly toads in a 2 and a half gallon tank and they have plenty of room to hop around. But usually one Fire Belly Toad should have about two gallons for itself. So you could probably but up to 3 or 4 toads in that tank, but if they get REALLY fat, you might want to think about eather putting one of them in an extra 2 gallon tank, or just get a bigger tank. But just remember to have half land, half water, make the water atleast 3 inches deep, not to put them in derect sun light, and not to put to put lots of light and heat of the toads! Thank you!- J
First of all, they are called Fire Bellied Toads, or Fire Belly Toads, not to be mean. As long as you have [wear] gloves when you hold them, your ok [safe]. I love to watch them at the pet stores, because they are very cute. I some day will own them, too, like many other fire bellied toad owners. Aks and do your research before you by them.:)
If you mean croak as died there could be many reasons. One, they could have eaten something poisonous. Two, it could have dehydrated or not eaten enough. Three, it could have come into contact with a chemical such as bleach. There are many more reasons. If you mean croak as in the sound they make, fire-belly toads usually croak when looking for a mate, warning another frog of a predator, or warning the predator it is poisonous.
fire is 1 bellied is 2 and toad or toads is 1 all together is 4
I have a terrarium with two red eared sliders, and 2 fire bellied toads along with many fish and other aquatic animals. I was wondering the same question. I have had mine living in a 100 gallon tank with my turtles for about a month now and they seem to get along. In fact, today the frogs were hanging onto the shell of my turtle enjoying a nice little ride. As far as I can tell, as long as there is plenty of food in your tank for the turtles to eat and not think of your frogs as prey they should be fine, but like I said I'm not sure.
they can lay as much as 200 at a time! Wow!
it can hold anywhere from 750-1000 gallons of water
This question does not make very much sense, but anyway, more than a billion.
Lots, but how can you measure it
Toads only get 4 feet!!
175 gallon
many can drop about 200 gallons, but it is usually fire retardant rather than water
