i suppose you are talking about the dual gas tanks on the 1994 f250? the front tank is 20 gallons and the rear tank is 15, so a total of 35 gallons
That depends. I have dual tanks but the sticker under the hood says 38 gallons. I imagine that's for one as I put 35 in one and 33 in the other.

On the 1987 Ford F150 with dual tanks the fuel filter mounted on the inside of the frame under the cab on the driver's side. Be sure you have the right tools to change the filter, and absolutely use eye protection. There will be fuel leakage, you do not want it in your eye.
