About 200,000 gallons per day so that would mean about 3,600,000
this oil leak is in the Gulf of Mexico
Near the Gulf of Mexico on the Caribbean sea.
The Gulf of Mexico oil spill is about four times worse and rising. This is not the worst leakage of oil though in the gulf. Mexico had a 110 million gallon leak in 1979. We are quickly approaching that level of leak.
The oil company BP had an oil spill on its rig in the gulf.
(If you mean the gulf of Mexico) The animals in the gulf are dying because of the oil that is in the Gulf. There was a leak in a pipe at the bottom of the ocean, and it spilled more oil out into the ocean. There was more before that though. The whole ocean is polluted. So it's not a surprise that fish and sharks and all of those other sea creatures are dying. If this is not the answer you're looking for, then Sorry!;-)

Well, a couple of bad stuff can happen. 1) Life in the Gulf of Mexico will decrease in numbers . This means that fish would become more expensive, so it has an affect on us. 2) Attendance rate to Mexico , Florida and Texas will decrease in numbers. There is plenty more, But I think these are important.
