A goldfish can grow to 12 inches or so. Using the basic rules of fishkeeping which are :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank needs a minimum of 50% of its water replaced every week. It is obvious that a 10 gal tank is not large enough for even one fully grown goldfish. You could put a few small ones in the tank but keep an eye on their sizes and do not go over the 1 inch per gallon rule, otherwise you will have constant sickness/health problems with the fish caused by overstocking.
Goldfish only go with other goldfish. 2 comets would be happy in a 36 gallon tank. Goldfish prefer cooler water. You could even have 3 in there if you wanted. With 3 you will have water quality problems and be constantly doing water changes to keep them happy. You can find the gold fishes in the acquarium stores.
A 96 litre tank can comfortably house about 2-3 goldfish (although 3 would probably be pushing it).
2 or thee little ones they say...
but with good filter i will try about 5 goldfishes
kilonis
A 3 gallon tank is to small for even one goldfish.
You can only put one goldfish in a 98 litre (25 gallon) tank.
Maximum 2 fancy goldfish...
It is important to remember to put things in a goldfish tank, even goldfish get bored. Some of my suggestions for tank decor are artificial plants and a "hidey hole" for your goldfish.
about half an hour to an hour
No. Unless you put it in a tank with sand.
yes, but it may kill the goldfish
If there is water in there...
Borneo suckers.
godfish can be any color-not just gold. yes u can put them together if they r the same breed (goldfish)
Goldfish just need a plain bowl and some plants
No. The only thing that can go into a 1g tank is a betta, and that's barely okay. PLEASE don't put any number of goldfish in a 1g
You cannot put any goldfish in a 2 gallon tank. One fancy goldfish needs at minimum a 20 gallon tank on it's own. This is not just because of their adult size potential, but also because they are very messy fish and produce a high amount of waste.
Enough salt and it will kill the fish
I really would not put the tadpoles in with the goldfish...the goldfish will most likely eat them all. It depends on the goldfish size, but eventually they will try to eat the tadpoles whether they suceed or not. :/
