Water vapor is ignored though in terms of man contribution to greenhouse gas because it dissipates quickly and mans contribution to this gas is insignificant. The water vapor produced in a launch remains in the atmosphere for a few hours. Much of the raw material used to create this water vapor also comes from the atmosphere to start with.
