The amount of sleep that an animal got every day or night can't be determined by simply looking at fossils. However, in modern times, large herbivores like elephants spend almost all day and night foraging. If that is any indication, Triceratops would have spent almost its whole day eating and thus wouldn't have had very much time for sleep.

Triceratops were very large herbivores, so they probably spent almost 24 hours a day foraging. It is impossible to tell how much they slept by looking at nothing but fossil bones. They probably only slept for a few hours each night.
