It depends on how many miles you drive, and how long you want your car to last.In General you should replace the engine oil and filter, the transmission oil and transmission filter and drain and replace the radiator coolant. You should also replace your air filter, and if your car has an external fuel filter, replace it.If you drive a lot of miles, your engine oil may need to be change sooner.
You need to replace the speed sensor. The speed sensor is mounted in the transmission. It is held in place by one bolt and is very easy to replace. You simply unbolt it, remove it, and reverse the procedure to replace it. The sensor has a wiring connector on it. The sensor should be on the transmission around the area that the drive shaft exits the transmission. It is driven by gears cut into the portion of the drive shaft that is inside the transmission casing. It is on the top of the transmission, above the area that the drive shaft (not sure if it is the left or right drive shaft) exits the transmission.
I had that in a vehicle i used to drive, and they had to replace the whole wiring system inside the transmission
It would be far cheaper to replace it with a used one than to rebuild the existing one.
Don't drive it! Have it towed to a garage that can flush the system, replace the radiator and hope that the transmission is not damaged.
If the truck is a 4 wheel drive it would be easier to remove the engine to replace the flywheel. If the truck is a 2 wheel drive removing the transmission and bell housing is the way to go.
