That varies by age, activity level and individual.
Infants usually need 16-22 hours per day.
Toddlers 10-14.
School age kids (including teens) 9-12.
And adults 7-9.
Increased activity can increase the sleep needed.
Most American adults and children fall several hours short of the above. A few rare people truly need less but most are just fooling themselves and not operatring at their best.

Cooked food should be held at least 140 degrees. Food should be consumed as soon as possible after cooking to slow the growth of bacteria. This is what refrigeration does. Generally speaking most hot foods will not have excessive bacterial growth in less than two hours. However this is accounting that the food was at a proper temperature at the beginning of that time. Also, bacterial growth can be greatly increased due to other improper handling (i.e. introduction of filth from hands ect).

You should sleep 9 hours
Younger people need to have more sleep for brain development. 12 hours. Adults dont develop there brain and techincally need only 6-8 hours. Young adults should get 10 and to be well rested, so should everyone else.
Teenagers should get 10 to 12 hours of sleep every day - you need more sleep that an adult does because your body and mind are growing!
Drinking milk, getting at least 8 hours of sleep, exercise, eating fruits and vegetables, and eating a good diet. Those things should help the growth of the human body. It may take a while though :)
