In this time in age it takes about 10-20 minutes to hang a pre-hung door that you would buy from Home Depot correctly, I've hung easily over 10,000 doors, I was recently a trim Foreman for the past 6 years, we can trim the hole house in a day with a total of three people.

∙ 7y agoIf its a pre hung door it should not take long. definitely less than one hour. just so long as it is framed right and it fits properly. A professional will be quicker than a person who rarely does the task. That is, if the door is going in to a cut that is plumb and the trim of the new door does not affect baseboards and existing tile. Painting the door and trim before hanging is advised.
