No one knows, although the people at Poptropica have an approximate schedule. After 4 in 2007, 3 in 2008, and only 2 in 2009, the numbers increased to 6 new islands in 2010, 7 in 2011, and 9 in 2012. There was a separate members-only game in 2011. One island from 2012, Poptropolis Games, was inactivated in February 2013. The first two new islands in 2013 (#32 and #33) were Zomberry Island and Night Watch Island.
