Have you tried contacting Hormel to see if you can obtain some of their Stagg chili in bulk? It tastes great and would be a good chili to feed that many people. If you can get enough people to help, you could also choose one chili recipe (www.famouschilirecipes.com is a good place to look) and have people prepare a double batch of it and bring it to the function. Hope this helps.
