3 main layers, crust (lithosphere), mantle and core
^ although that is technically mostly correct, The Mantle is divided into 3 sections. the lithosphere is one of them.. and it includes the crust AND the tough top part of the mantle. The Lithosphere, which contains the tectonic plates (what causes pangea, continental drift, sea floor spreading, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, etc) 'floats' on top of the Asthenosphere which is the "middle" part of the mantle, and has a dense, 'plastic' kind of melted rock. The flow is very slow there, due to the density caused by the extreme pressure the 3rd one I'm not sure what its called. but i do know it includes the outer core as well extremely as the "bottom" mantel. then there is the inner core where is mostly hot metals at hot temperatures. oh wait i found out the last layer. In total there are 5 layers!!! look
READ THIS: "The structure of Earth can be defined in two ways: by mechanical properties such as rheology, or chemically. Mechanically, it can be divided into lithosphere, mesosphere-mantle, outer-core-1, and the inner-core. The interior of the earth is divided into 5 important layers. Chemically, Earth can be divided into the crust, upper mantle, lower mantle, outer core, and inner core.
The earth has a total of 6 main layers.
there are 4 layers and i dont know what they are called

sedimenatary rock create layers in the surface of the earth and eruptions from volcanoes also make layers of the earth.
It's just how it's made.
how many layers does the earth have and name them
