How many letters do you have in the bible?

This question depends on wether or not you are using an English translation of The Bible, or some other language. If you were to ask how many letters there were in the King James Bible, for example, it would be different to the number of letters in the NRSV, NIV or NJB versions. For reference however, in the KJVthere are 3,566,480 letters. I do not know how many there are in the other versions.

You should also realise that even before the time of Christ there were differences in the number of letters in the original tongues, We know, for example from the Dead Sea Scrolls that there were many different versions of Daniel which existed in the two centuries before the birth of Christ. There were also different versions, and are still to this day, of the books of Psalms, Esther, Daniel, and of the Gospel of Mark which circulate. This question therefore, has no real absolute answer.
