It depends on how long the Tootsie Roll is. Some are long and others are short.
For the ones that are about 2 inches long would take 2 seconds if you bite it! If you don't, it might take about 4 minutes. The shorter ones that are about an inch long would take shorter. Maybe 1 second if you put the whole thing in your mouth!
So it really depends on how long or how big bite you take. ;) You can time yourself to see how long it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll!
